A Big Fan of the Schwinn Airdyne

After recovering from a work-related injury, my physiotherapist recommends that I get some daily exercise that involved both decent cardiovascular activity as well is something that would help to strengthen my legs.

Since my therapist had me using a Schwinn Airdyne exercise bike in her office and I really liked the way the fan created resistance in a way that works with my legs, I decided to get one for at home. The more work I put into pedaling, the more wind resistance is created, and the harder it is to pedal. It might not sound like that big deal, but when you’re dealing with injury recovery, I much prefer letting my body decide the resistance level should be rather than flipping switches and pressing buttons.

I also like that it works out my arms at the same time, giving me a full body workout, which after six months of not being able to do much is very important to get back in shape.

Awesome Busy Day Session

The teacher is extremely thorough, and explains things in a way that is logical during my Kundalini Yoga teacher training. The workouts are a feasible amount of time (about twenty minutes) where as these high-impact aerobics keep you leaping around the room for forty or even more. If not for the extreme talking, I’d rate this four to five stars because the Pilates moves are perfect. After a couple of weeks I noticed a big difference in my abdomen. Used as a companion to Siler’s “The Pilates Body”, you’ll have a good, all-around beginner’s workout. Pilates has enhanced my posture and my versatility. She’s clearly very healthy and fit, which is inspiring to come back to her movies every day, knowing that this is exactly what Pilates can achieve for a body. Hers is a lot more challenging (will write an evaluation under hers as well). But certainly works the abs much more completely than this one.
