Dehydrated/freeze-dried camping food is excellent for hiking, backpacking, or camping meals because it’s not necessary to keep it cold to avoid spoiling. While coolers/refrigerators can work well in certain situations, ice or electricity might not be available making dehydrated/freeze dried food really attractive. While treatment of water helps preserve camping food it also has another advantage.
